Meet Rachel

With twenty years’ experience in mental health, I specialise in applying evidence-based psychological interventions to empower my clients to make real and lasting change.

Each person’s situation is unique. The specific needs and wishes of each individual client will dictate how we approach our work together. There is no one-size-fits-all approach; I will be guided by you to make sure you get the help you need.

I hold a Practitioner Doctorate in Counselling Psychology, a Diploma in Counselling, and a First Class Honours Degree in Psychology. I am registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and work to their standards of ethics and conduct. I am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. The title of Chartered Psychologist is legally recognised as the highest standard of psychological knowledge and expertise. I am also recognised as an EMDR Accredited Practitioner with EMDR UK, which acknowledges experience, expertise and trustworthiness in delivering EMDR.

I am the author of How to Help Someone with Anxiety, a practical guide offering hope and guidance to those seeking relief from anxiety.

Professionalism, accountability, quality and trust are at the heart of all my professional services.
